I've been in a lot of Kinect articles and he's got a snarky comment in basically every one.
Both platform holders had to address the Wii and Kinect is the route MS went.

There was basically zero hype before RDR launched. Just the normal Rockstar trickle of screenshots and trailers. In fact there was a lot of rumors that it would suck with talk of buggy demos and overworked developers.

Very well said! I agree that 2009 is still the best year for PS3 for various reasons. In my opinion this year was pretty close game wise but it all comes down to personal preference.
